Well sit back cause this pisses me off.  I think more people should "Say what they mean, and mean what they say!"  I was involved this weekend in a race with Katie.  She was great a 2nd, 3rd,& 7th.  She said I am gona do good and she did.  Rewind 4 months.  At a meeting someone says lets race and I will handle it the arrangements.  Another person says I will handle the paperwork.  A 3rd says I will be charge race day.  Great an organized plan.  2 months pass, arrangements are made a hill is secured, police willing, residents excited.  Paper work is being completed, things are rolling.  Fast forward 2 months, nothing.  An email goes out asking whats happening with regaurds to race preparation.  No reply from people in charge. Replies from people who wanted to help, well 4 people.  We decide that if no one is willing, we willl put it together.  We start putting things in place, we are told stop, you are not in charge.  So fast forward 1 month, nothing still.  I get a call giving me crap because I didn't do anything to get the race together, mean while the 2 others that are in charge don't get a call for help.  I take the heat, letting it go, (Karma).  Miraculassly, an email goes out asking for help............3 days before the race.  There is a time we will meet.   I decide to arrive 15 minutes later than scheduled time.  people in charge arrive 45 minutes past the time THEY set.  Well the rest of the week goes pretty much the way.  Cut me a break, people. It is called commitment.  If you don't want to do the job, don't put your hand up.  If you think youu can't do the job, ask for help.  If niether apply, sit back, be quite.   I think Johnny & Donnie say it better.  the song says, " If you can't lead, let me by you, if your gonna follow get outta the way, if you can't run with the big dog, the big dog will walk you out!  I was just reminded that this the samething that with Jerseys I was designing at BB 3 years ago.  After waiting 19 months for a new jersey I was told just get tit done. So I did.  After 3 weeks the jerseys were ready to be printed...You got it I was told "don't do anything I'll take care of it!"  Yea 1 month later I still had no jerseys and ended up doing it myself anyway.  Repeat the lycis here.  "If you cna'y lead...."  The moral here is simple folks. Just show and do your job!  It is called responsability.
