Grand Re-Opening
Man, that was alot of fun!!!! I probably should have took pictures. CRAP! should have thought of that before 8:30 pm Saturday Night. Dummy! Thanks to everyone who came by to say HI! Fred, it was really nice of you to stop when your shop was open, Thanks. I am glad you like how the store looks, I don't know how you did it there so long. Gary T, YouDaAMan! Thanks for showing up, and bringing all the swag from Giant. Even though aot of companies supported it, you were the only one to drag yourself in and get involved. We made alot of new friends and our old friends really enjoyed hanging out listening to Livin Easy,. Jeff you were great not only at the store, but dinner with Maria and the girls was a blast. Happy Aniversary!! I think you left your jacket at the house. we are going to do that again for sure. Dan Leary won a Giant Boulder. The only person happier was the women who won the FSA Carbon Bars...NICE!! All the door prizes were a hit, the coffee, tires, t-shirts all of it. Thanks to Gita, FSA, Giant, Specialized, Quality, Vittoria and Belll Helmets for all the prizes. That slot machine was so cool as it was screaming in Japaneze. I think Richie pumped more money in that thing than my mom in a week in Vegas. My brother was pissed because his name was pulled frst for the bike and Wendy ripped his ticket in half and threw in the trash. THe only guy more pissed than my brother was the A-Hole from the company who didn't send out the 4000 postcards out on time after I called him and gave What4. That is worse than a bike shop running out of tubes. I would have said the Post Office running out of stamps, but they do that all the time IDIOTS! (That is probably its own blog) I have to thank everyone who worked, Rich, Kathie, Gina, Phil, Chris, Greg, Steve, Gary, Pat, Brandy, and of corse Wendy.

Laurent Fignon passed away today, Aug 31, 2010, at the age of 50. He was known for his loss in the 1989 Tour to Greg LeMond by 8 seconds. However he was a man with 2 Tour Victories, and major wins in the classics and at all the grand tours.
