Well this blog is a week late, but I thought I was a bike rep.  LOL!  Anyway for those of you who don't know Guns and Roses, see my previous posts.  Basically it is where you give 1 thing you feel good about, Rose.  Where there is good bad is there to balance it out.  So you get 1 bad thing, Gun.

Another 1 for the Books

Well another page turns, and so ends Chapter 2 in the Bike King Chronicles.  WOW that is amazing!, or should I say it has been amazing!  The second year has seen a lot of change and accomplishments.  The big accomplishment has to be, that we held 3 events in a row, without rain or snow.  Last year every event we had rained what ever is bigger than cats & dogs.......elephants & hippos I guess.  That last event BiKing for June was our 1st charity ride, and with your help we raised $5,000.00.  Thank You!!Change, seems like change everyday, old reps gone that we never saw, new reps we h

Well its been quite a while since my last blog.  Sorry about that.  So I thought today I should re-emerge with something that I think is funny. Happy 2010!  Another year, and decade in the books.  2009 was unsatisfing for some, even down right awful.  Fortunately for me, it was neither.  I believe that 2009 could be one of the best years in recent memory, both personally and professionally.  The family is great!  Kids are succeeding, Sammi is coming into her own, Katie is on her way and of corse the Soap Box season.

Time Flies When Your Having Fun

Well it has flown by.........and it has been fun.........and its already been a year!  Happy Anniversary to me, us!  Its hard to believe it has been a year since we opened the doors, but it has!  Well a lot has happened this year, good and bad, I have written about some, and left some out.  To all that have helped us settle in and become our customers and friends Thanks.  We are glad that we have come together.  It is not always easy winning people over when a major change takes place.  We may not have got it right everytime, but we are working on it.  Thanks for understanding and letting u

THEM CHANGES ARE COMING QUICK

It was Thursday afternoon, and I was making my last rounds on the show floor.  I remembered I wanted to go by the J&B booth and see the new guy there, Will.  Will was new to them but not to anyone in the industry and worked with Schwinn in the last 42 years.  I went in the booth and asked for the oldest rep that they had, not the one who worked the longest......the oldest, A tall, silver haired guy raised his hand and with a smile and said that would be me.  As he walked over, he recognised me and we just laughed.  He congratulated me on the new store (haven't seen him in a while) and t

Well its that time of year again, Interbike, Vegas, the big Show!  Most people get tired of Vegas and the show.  I LOVE it.  First I love bikes, second I love Vegas.  Add old friends, and cold beer, What more can you want.  It is a long couple of days i nthe city that never sleeps, luckily niether do I .  Short trip this time, still enough time to demo on Tuesday, check products on Wedensday and Thursday, home by Friday morning.  Oh and an Elvis show!  ( He is alive you know.  I think he is an Elvis impersonator in Vegas.  I know it makes doesn't it.  Just think about it for a minute.....Hi
